[There's only one affiliation he can think of, even if that was a bit anonymous on his level. Apparently it wasn't on hers? So, a Star, presumably, with the mention of Dooku supporting that notion.]

I like to think so. Are you?

I must admit, I'm not really the sort for groups on a large scale -- preferring to instead do things on a more independent level. So it did not surprise me to see Constellation fall. But even in spite of its fall, I find Dooku far more palatable than either Grievous or Adachi.

Personally, I prefer to work with a hand-picked team, where we all know one another, making everyone accountable. I can understand arguments for anonymity, but the risk of backstabbing and betrayal rises exponentially. The Constellation, a case in point.

Grievous, I know about. [Who doesn't?] Adachi, on the other hand... the Count has not mentioned anything about him to me, only Hux.

Tohru Adachi is a hypocrite who joined the Constellation and then prides himself on being the one to take things down. After which he pretends to be a hero to the public, even in spite of a criminal past. Dooku and I have our suspicions he has ties to the supposed Phantom Thieves who robbed Dooku of his free will at the time of incarceration. Considering he seems to have ambassadorial ambition and is getting closer and closer to achieving this goal, I think it's vital to prevent this from happening in the future.

[ Because Raina knows the next time an ambassador ports out, Adachi will be running again. ]

Interesting. No, we certainly would not want to see him get ahead in any way. How careful is he likely to be as far as protecting himself goes?

He is weak as an individual, but perceptive and cautious. And he does have powerful friends...if our assumption is correct. I think perhaps the first step would be to try and find out who his closest allies are and if they are at all able to be manipulated.

It wouldn't hurt to come up with a list of his enemies either. Hypocrites tend to attract them.

As smart as you are charming. Yes, that would be a good idea. I imagine such like-minded individuals will make excellent allies.

And it would be good to have a candidate of our own to support as well. I don't suppose you're interested in holding an ambassadorial seat, are you?

Of course if you've known him for a while, you might have a good idea of who those people are already.

I've only started paying attention to him since the Constellation disbanded. So unfortunately, it hasn't been terribly long. But I imagine it won't be difficult to do a bit of digging.

I suppose I could run again. I haven't had much luck. But what is it they say? Third time's a charm.

And you would greatly benefit if I won. Surely there is something you would like to do with the funding provided by an ambassador...

I should hope so. I'm sure I can think of something.

Is there anything in particular you want in this world? Our interests already seem to be in alignment. I think we could certainly help one another achieve them, even if the ambassador thing doesn't work out.

The porter has gifted me with enhanced memory and organization skills. I also have a background in urban warfare and a good amount of experience with explosives.

Plus a Classics degree.

Hm. So if I were to work on some classified scientific experiments and needed to store the data somewhere no one else could find it, would your mind serve as a suitable archive?

I'd have to physically read it all, but yes, conceivably.

If you'd be interested, I'd love to pay you as a contractor. I've been wanting to move forward toward more daring experiments.
